FRIENDS -Where are they now?

So I was thinking the other day....What are the cast members of FRIENDS doing now? Sure Jennifer Aniston has had a good career making multi-million dollar movies and Courtney Cox has had some success as well, but what about the others? What are they doing now? All 6 of the cast members were making $1 million an episode during the last season in 2004....Yeah, $16 million a year acting on a 22 minute sitcom! Pretty awesome! It seemed like they got along and they were the coolest thing on TV...

So why quit? Was the show growing stale? They were drawing 24 million people an episode during the final season. Like most people do, they got tired of doing the same thing and tried to pull a "Timberlake" and go out on their own to seek success. I am not saying that I could see the show still on the air today. There are only so many things you can talk about in a coffee shop, but why throw in the towel when they did? Here is a little rundown of what they are doing now:

Jennifer Aniston: Fame skyrocketed when she married Brad Pitt and she has remained in the limelight mainly for this reason, not her films. Her movies, frankly, usually suck, but she has graced the cover of US Weekly for what seems like forever. Take a look at these gems and tell me which your favorite was: Regardless, she has maintained her fame and continued to further her career.

Courtney Cox: Never achieved the success she had as Monica on FRIENDS, unless you loved the Scream series or LOVED ACE VENTURA... Now she is starring in Cougar Town, which is actually pretty funny.

Matthew Perry: Chandler Bing - now best known for playing opposite Zac Efron in 17 again, which sadly was his biggest deal since he did a few guest roles on some TNT shows...should have stayed longer!

Matt LeBlanc: Joey, ladies' man...hilarious on the show, with his "how you doin?" line to all the honey babies that walked his way. Well, when you are best known for a movie you did with a baseball playing monkey, you have to have 2nd thoughts...Hasn't done anything since 2003.

Lisa Kudrow: Phoebe...Actually was able to land a few roles in movies for a while, but I saw her last week selling some game for Nintendo Wii about cooking.

David Schwimmer: Ross - nothing really to speak of, just some spot roles on TV and in movies and now working on Broadway.

They all are still making millions a year though because of syndication of Friends around the world. You can turn on the TV almost any day of the week and see an episode of Friends.

Should they have stayed? If you judge by each actor's success following the show, then YES! They should have let it run it's course, but you never know until you try and it's not like they are hurting for $$.
